The Sanskrit term “Alaksana” derived from the Diamond Sutra and can be translated into English as “formlessness.” In Buddhism, it describes the idea that things have no unchanging form or essence.

Continuing my exploration of natural objects and inversion techniques, the images in this series are all drawn from natural elements such as tree bark and water ripples, sometimes combined with images of plants, and are processed through inversion, transforming them into images that both exist and do not exist.

These images fluctuate between reality and illusion, exploring the illusory nature of imagery and the relationship between reality and appearance. The series aims to provoke deep reflection on the essence of photography, imagery, and even the very existence of all things in the world: What truly exists behind this image? And what exists only in illusion?
